My OBi202 is connected to a TP-Link
router(Model No. TL-WDR3600). The Ethernet port light
on the router does not come on when I connect the
router and the OBi202. This comes on when I connect
my laptop to the router. Don't know if that matters,
just thought I'd mention something I noticed. OBi202
is not listed in the DHCP client table of the router.
So I cannot determine the IP address of the device to
open ports or connect to the device from my laptop.
The light on the device is alternating between
red/green and off. Dialing the numbers as suggested
by your website does not do anything.

Thank you for the link. The page suggests that I update the OBi's firmware by connecting to the OBi's IP address. My problem is I can't get the IP address of the OBi. The device is not listed in my router's DHCP table.

I just saw on another post that if the phone connected to the OBi does not have a dial tone then the unit may be defective. Can someone please confirm that? I do not get a dial tone.

verify that your phone is plugged into Phone 1, or Phone 2, on the back of your 202

if you have another power supply, that is same volts / amps & polarity, try another power supply
